How do programmers last working for a company for 5 years, 10 years, or 20 years?

Not too long ago, perhaps when you were just a child, most people stayed with companies in all kinds of fields for their entire life.

It’s actually only recently when people started to move around more. And that’s for a variety of reasons.

Most people actually would stay in the same job if the pay was good, the job was predictable and there were nice friends.

Go ahead, just ask your dad or grandpa. Or any “boomer” that you know.
